"Justice Prevails": May 2009:  A monumental mural, depicting a triumphant Justice holding her scales high in front of Prince George’s County burning courthouse, fills an interior wall in the Duvall Wing of the newly rebuilt courthouse.  The powerful image of Justice overcoming adversity reminds visitors that justice will prevail, even in the face of tragedy.  A patined copper frame, made from the remains of the original copper Courthouse roof, encloses the mural.

"Chesapeake Journey" -  National Harbor: April 2008: The largest FŌTERA®  structural concrete fabrication to date was recently installed on the shores of the Potomac River at National Harbor near Washington, D.C. “Chesapeake Journey” is the central hardscape of an outdoor balcony occupying 1,618 square feet. Celebrating the region through its depiction of the Chesapeake Bay, the mural includes portraits of notable historic figures, cities, and nearly 100 other hidden icons that viewers can gradually discover. The names of these icons are inscribed on the faces of granite benches that line the length of the balcony, which engage people to sit, participate, learn, and relax.

Cornerstones of History: May 2007: Our FŌTERA™  structural concrete fabrication has just finished on Cornerstones of History. The eight panels, making up the 6’ x 30’ mural will be stored for several months until the site is available for installation. They will be included in a fountain and installed in a park at a major in Washington, D.C. intersection near the end of this year. It is hard to believe it is just thousands of different colored stones and pigmented concrete.

Coi Fish: May 2007: We are currently in the process of casting a new FŌTERA™ structual concrete tabletop depicting Coi fish swimming in a pond. Instead of a plain utilitarian tabletop surface, diners will now be able to enjoy a scenic image while they sit.
